Shirley Ann Lamanuzzi

Shirley, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother was born on April 8, 1938, in Fresno to Fred and Flossie James. She grew up working alongside her family for their dairy farm business. Shirley graduated from Central High School and a few years later met the love of her life, Bart Anthony Lamanuzzi.

In 1957, Shirley and Bart married and were blessed with four children. She was a devoted housewife and loved her family very much. Shirley and Bart enjoyed many trips to Reno, Pismo, and Monterey. They also loved boating and playing gin together. She was a huge San Francisco Giants fan that never missed a game on TV and always had a bet going with her son.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Bart; and her parents, Fred and Flossie James.

She is survived by her four children, Tina Lamanuzzi-Velasco and her husband Gregory, Gino Bart Lamanuzzi, Gina "DooBee" Nulick and her husband Don, and Nina Borrelli and her husband John; eight grandchildren, David and Michael Baer, Talia Lamanuzzi, Crystal and Christopher Nulick, Lena, Angelo and Carmine "Nico" Borrelli; her sister, Cindy Hume; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank our compassionate caregiving team that were by our mothers side for the past two and a half years. It has been a difficult time, but such a reassurance to know that someone like you was looking after her needs so closely. Thank you again so very much.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
