Sofia Hernandez Pacheco

Sofia Hernandez Pacheco was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Sofia will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

She was the daughter of Julio and Dolores Hernandez. Sofia grew up in Durango, Mexico.

Empathic and loyal, Sofia was committed to making her new family happy.

Sofia worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Sofia was blessed with three children, three sons, Matias, David and Jose. Another blessing for Sofia was the gift of four grandchildren, Marissa, Cristian, Athena, Archelaus.

Sofia’s faith was important to her. She was a member of Apostolic Assembly Church for 25+ years.

Sofia passed away on June 13, 2015 at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. of congestive heart failure. She is survived by her children, Matias, David and Jose and grandchildren, Marissa, Cristian, Athena and Archelaus. Services were held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Sofia was laid to rest in Fresno Memorial Gardens.

Simply stated, Sofia was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Sofia leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Sofia Hernandez Pacheco.
