She spent most of her childhood in the Guadalupe, Santa Maria area. Sue graduated from Santa Maria High School on June 17, 1935. During World War II she was relocated to Poston, AZ. While at Poston, a marriage was arranged with Toshiyuki Tom Koga. Together they had three children. They moved to the Clovis-Fresno area where she was active in the Fresno Betsuin, the Clovis Community Church, the Fujinkai, and in volunteer work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom and two of her children, Dave and Phil.
Sue is survived by her sister, Yoshi Miwa; her son Don and his wife Kathy; two daughter-in-laws; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Private Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013.
