

Doug was born in Moorhead, Ms. and moved to Sanger, Ca. on 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965-67 as an Army Specialist, Chart Operator in Korea. Doug owned his own business DG Electronics for 30 years and enjoyed all the friendships he made with his customers.
Doug was an avid bowler and had a passion for refurbishing old cars. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved RV'ing at the coast and spending family vacations at Lake McClure. Doug also got a kick out of throwing an annual Halloween party for friends and family.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, James Wade Gorden; mother, Annie Mae Love-Stevens; and brother, Joe Gorden.
He is survived by Lori Gorden, his wife of 20 years; his son, Michael Gorden and his wife Christy; his daughter, Stephanie Freeman and her husband Greg; stepdaughter, Lindsey Clarke and her husband Brian; stepdaughter, Lacey Lassen and Augie Ramos; his grandchildren, Dominic Gorden and Stella Freeman; and siblings, Jim Gorden, Rob Gorden, Shirley Hughes, Betty Muse, Lesley Gorden, Norma Love and Linda Reed.
Visitation will be held at Clovis Pentecostal Church of God, 395 Peach Avenue in Clovis on Friday, April 30, 2010, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Clovis Pentecostal Church of God on Friday, April 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m.
