Timothy Roderick Stubblefield

Tim lived in Fresno his entire life, except for a semester abroad in England. He attended Bullard High School and Fresno State University. At Bullard, he played baseball and football with many highly acclaimed athletes who were also his lifelong friends. He then attended Fresno State and was actively involved in Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Tim also met many good friends during his time in the Fraternity. He graduated with a business degree and began his working career shortly thereafter.

Tim joined his grandfather (Claude Stubblefield), Father (Rod Stubblefield), and uncle (Den Stubblefield) at New York Life in 1987. He continued his 23 year career at New York Life until his untimely death.

Tim loved cooking and music. He attended many concerts in his young adult life. He made many meals and special dishes for friends and family throughout the years. He enjoyed shopping at the many Farmer's Markets in the area searching for quality ingredients for his cooking. Tim loved animals and his many friends and family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Claude and Maurine Stubblefield, and Arthur and Kathryn Longueville. He is also preceded in death by his cousin Brett Stubblefield.

He is survived by his parents Rod and Carol Stubblefield; brother Curtis and his wife Shannon and their two children Tori and Nicholas; Uncle Den and Aunt Sandra Stubblefield and cousin Rebecca; Uncle A. Ward Longueville and cousins A.W. Longueville III of Ventura, Jayne Longueville of Sacramento, and Sharon Mathews of Idaho.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 26, 2011 at 11:00 am at Northwest Church, 5415 N. West Avenue, NWC West & Barstow Avenues.
