Vera A. Lanfranco

Vera attended Sunset Elementary School and graduated from Kerman Union High School. She attended 4C´s Business College. After completing her studies at 4C´s, Vera worked at Security Bank in Fresno. She later worked for Bank of America in Kerman. In 1950 she married Lorrie Lanfranco, her loving husband of 53 years. They had two children. Vera was active in her church community. She was a member of the Kerman United Methodist Ladies Guild.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Lorrie Lanfranco; her parents, Pearl and Alex Nazaroff; and by seven brothers; and two sisters.

Vera is survived by her sister, Kathrine Kaia of Fresno; her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Peter Bunting of Fresno; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jeneen Lanfranco of Kerman; her three grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Bunting, and Daniel Lanfranco; her granddaughter, Nicole Lanfranco; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of Vera Lanfranco thanks her devoted and loving caregivers Cora Drake and Concepción Santa Rosa for all of the help they provided.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Funeral Chapel, on Thursday, June 16, 2011, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Kerman United Methodist Church, on Friday, June 17, 2011, at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in her name may be made to Hinds Hospice, 1616 West Shaw, Suite A-5, Fresno 93711 or to the Kerman United Methodist Church at 3095 North Madera Ave., Kerman California, 93630.
