Viola Mae De Lap, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024, in Fresno, California. She was 89 years old. Born in Okolona, Arkansas, Viola completed the 11th grade before beginning her career as a waitress at the Hilton Hotel, where she was known for her kindness and dedication.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Carol Bishop, and her grandsons, John Paul Bishop and Bob Edwin Bishop. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Verla Gentle, and her husband, Antonio (Tony) Sandoval.

Viola will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering strength, and the love she generously shared with her family and friends.
A private graveside service for Viola will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
