

Aaron Rickey Kennedy, 67, of Frisco, Texas, passed away October 9, 2014. He was born in Centerville, Iowa on November 17, 1946. Rick graduated from Bolton High School in Alexandria, Louisiana and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana College. He was married to Bobette Kennedy on July 1, 1972.
He worked in graphic design and printing for multiple companies until starting his own business, ARK Graphics, in 1988 with his wife. Rick lived most of his life and raised his family in Alexandria, Louisiana until moving to Texas in 2011 to be closer to family and grandchildren.
He was very proud of his children, Trey Kennedy (Amanda) of Frisco, Texas and Heather Faulkner (Jay) of McKinney, Texas. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and being grandfather to Camryn (9) and Carson (6) Kennedy and Aaron (3) and Jaylyn (3 months) Faulkner. Rick was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU football fan and never missed watching a game with his family. He was a devoted family man, husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bobette, son Trey and his wife Amanda, daughter Heather and her husband Jay, grandsons Carson and Aaron, granddaughters Camryn and Jaylyn, sister Kathy Cumella, and numerous cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Delmar Kennedy, and his mother, Nola Kennedy. He is also preceded in death by his father-in-law who treated him like a son, Maize Coston.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Stonebriar Funeral Home 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas 75035, Pastor Anthony Mangun will officiate.
