I'm very sorry to see that Alvin has departed. I was a childhood friend of Alvin's in the 1970s and early 80s. My condolences for his family.

I worked with Al for several years, he was a great guy and will surely be missed. Prayers for the family.

I met Al when he came to work at RNDC. We became fast friends quickly as we had similar interests and hobbies. Even though he was "the boss" he always treated me as his equal and I will always respect him for that. Work was trivial and most of our daily conversions were about life, family and good times.  Al always wanted to know about me and the course of my life.  Al had a great sense of humor and was keen with a quick joke, we would go to lunch most days and it was always a side splitting laugh fest affair.  Laughter is the best medicine and Al was defiantly a surgeon.

You'll know a mans worth by the company he keeps. The company of friends, family and acquaintance’s Al kept is so vast that it cant be described. His worth is the love that flowed from him to all those around him. I celebrate his life and keep him close to my heart were he will always reside.

I raise a glass to you good sir, God speed and as always…

Al is our brother-in-law. We are thankful for the love he showed Jackie! It has always been obvious to us how much they love each other! Al always made us laugh when we talked to him! His smile and sense of humor were a big part of what made him such a great man! We will always remember how much he loved Jackie and took such good care of her! Love Alli and CD

There just aren't the right words.... 
Al was a very kind and funny guy and I learned a great deal from him.  May his memory be a blessing.  

I worked with Al before I retired  almost three years ago. He was my boss and the greatest guy I have ever known. I have never known someone  as kind and caring as Al.  He was definitely  a people person. He took time to greet each employee every day in the morning and wish them a good night in the evening. He covered the office and warehouse. 
I altered a Ranger shirt he had purchased for their opening day. He said it looked like a dress on him. He made us laugh. 
We drew each other’s names as secret Santa one year.  He was so generous with the gifts that I should have guessed that it was him. 
We had a day where we wore our ugly sweater. I placed a picture of Al on the back of my sweater.  Of course he thought it was funny because he had a wonderful sense of humor. 
My heart is broken and I would love to talk to him again. 
Family you are in my prayers. You were blessed to have a super husband and Daddy.
