Becky Olvera

Becky Stanford Olvera Roseberry, age 57, of Little Elm, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Becky was born August 10, 1963 in Seville, Spain. She is survived by her loving parents Joel Stanford and Dorothy Hamilton, best friend and younger sister Angela Hagen, older brothers Dennis Stanford and Joel Stanford, and her two precious children Olivia Olvera and Eric Olvera.

Becky was known as a wild child and daredevil as a kid and teen, never afraid to climb the tallest tree or ride the biggest roller coaster. She graduated from Plano Senior High School and went on to get a bachelors degree in computer science at University of Texas at Dallas. From there she became a computer programmer at Texas Instruments and then Alcatel.

In her 20s and 30s, Becky could always be found in the middle of the crowd as the life of the party and always enjoyed meeting new people. In her last years, Becky enjoyed dreaming of being her own interior decorator by designing custom furniture and original Christmas decor. Anyone who knew her, knew she also loved her two dogs Sasha and Trixie, even though she said for most of her life that she would never get a dog.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to Camp Mariposa of the Eluna Network or the Magdalen House. However, if you feel the need to send flowers, we ask that you do not send roses as Becky always said they are too expensive to die so quickly!

A celebration of life memorial service for Becky will be held Sunday, July 25, 2021, 12:00 PM, at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033.
