Born in Sedalia Missouri, Betty was one of 6 children born to the late Eldon and Elizabeth Mosby.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Harold Stevens. They had a vibrant life from college to serving in the Navy to careers spanning the country. She worked for organizations including Bergman Manufacturing, UTD and Boy Scouts of America. They enjoyed playing bridge with friends from Florida to Massachusetts to California; memorably including an active group at Harvard. They traveled extensively up and down the East coast and across the expansive Western US. They enjoyed their early retirement RVing from South Texas to Colorado.
Betty loved supporting her children and grandchildren in their activities. She could prepare a gourmet meal and create remarkable, fondly remembered classroom treats. She was the most vocal fan of sons and grandchildren.
Betty will live forever in the fond memories of her son Mark and wife Jill, son Scott and wife Lori, grandchildren: Scott and wife Libby; Emily; Martin and wife Saylee; and Luke.
