Brian Michael Blackshaw

For those who had the privilege of knowing and enjoying Brian’s love and friendship, this is a day we did not expect. With Brian’s energy, love for others and his deep passions, we thought he would live forever.

Brian was born on April 2nd, 1948 in St. Louis Missouri to Allyn and Mary Blackshaw. He attended the University of Missouri, but always and forever a Dawg fan!

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Mary Claire Blackshaw, parents, Mary Julia (Darrah) and Allyn Julian Blackshaw and his, sister and brother in law Eleanor and Ron Hines. He is survived by his son Jordan (Beth) Blackshaw, daughter Darrah (Eric) Wagaman and son Beau Blackshaw. Grandchildren Julia Wagaman, Anna Blackshaw, Bryce Blackshaw and Henry Wagaman. And mother in law Mary Ann Arant.

Blackshaw Partners was Brian’s professional passion and he was tremendously successful for 48 years. He placed hundreds of top executives, the vast majority became long time, fast friends.

In lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Circle of Friends, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, 1575 NE Expressway NE Atlanta Georgia, 30329.

A Celebration Of Life Visitation will be held in Atlanta at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in the Hospitality Room from 3:00 to 5:00pm, Friday January 26, 2024. For all that knew and loved Brian, we hope you will come by. Dawg gear/red attire requested.
