Charles Remy “Chuck” Whitfill was born on March 5, 1956 and passed away on November 28, 2014. Chuck was born in Dallas, Texas the fourth of eight children to Gilbert and Barbara Whitfill. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert in 2006. He is survived by his mother Barbara Whitfill of Frisco and by seven brothers and sisters: Cindy and (Ron) Burns, Steve Whitfill and (Sheryl Brooks), Kelly and (Debbie) Whitfill, Jeanne Erichson, Rosemary and (David) Bain, Patrick and (Jennifer) Whitfill, Nanette and (Mike) McRoberts, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
After growing up in Dallas, Chuck had lived in different areas of the United States over the years and was living in Denver when he passed away. He was a weather data collection specialist for most of his adult life which afforded him the opportunity to live in some of the most beautiful parts of our country and enjoy nature and his favorite pastime, fishing. Chuck experienced a lot in his short life and was known for his sharp sense of humor, incisive intelligence and an incredible generosity to those less fortunate. He has left a hole that cannot be filled in the hearts of his loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chuck’s honor to your favorite charity.
