Charles Jeffrey “Jeff” Wunderlick passed away on January 31, 2021, after a sudden and brief battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 2, 1944, he was a seventh generation Texan.
Jeff loved his family and friends, his Catholic Church, Texas A&M, and his business. He was a co-founder of Frisco Wholesale Lumber, along with James Kennemer. His proudest accomplishment is employing hundreds of people over the years. Jeff was very well known in the lumber industry and the real estate community.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Doris King Wunderlick, his brother George Christopher Wunderlick, his wife Karen Evans Wunderlick, and Twila’s son Kevin Crick.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie Strangis, Paul Wunderlick, Jennifer Elizalde and her husband David Elizalde II, and Christopher "CJ" Wunderlick; father, George Maurice Wunderlick; sisters, Nancy Wunderlick and Melinda Miller and her husband Doug; nephew, Robert Castro and his wife Nora; grandchildren, Savannah Strangis, Jacqueline Elizalde, Victoria Elizalde and David Elizalde III; fiancé and partner, Twila Crick and her son Kyle. The family is so appreciative of all the love and care she gave to Jeff over the past four years.
The Visitation will be held at on Wednesday, February 3rd from 4pm to 7pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and will take place on Thursday, February 4th at 10:30am at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway Frisco, TX 75033. The Graveside Service will take place on Friday, February 5th at 10am at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
