Dan was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 26, 1950. Dan served our country both in the military and Federal Government. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his healthier years and was always a history enthusiast and avid reader.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Elder Dobbs and Norma Lee Dobbs, and his sister, Dee Ellen Winter.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kristine Dobbs, of Frisco, Texas. Dan also leaves behind his children: daughter, Ellen Marshall, of Cape Coral, Florida, and his son, Erik Dobbs, of Powell, Wyoming. He is also survived by his three granddaughters: Isis Marshall, Mylot Marshall & Phelanie Marshall.
A private viewing with only close family present is scheduled for Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11 AM at Stonebriar Funeral Home. He will eternally rest at the Dobbs Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee.
