Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he carried a lifelong love for his hometown and its people. That bond came full circle when he recently returned to Cleveland to attend his 50th high school reunion, a moment filled with memories, laughter, and deep pride in where his journey began.
He was a graduate of Wittenberg University and went on to work for Northwest Orient Airlines, a role that helped ignite his passion for travel and global connection. Driven by curiosity and determination, he later earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School. His career also included distinguished service at Sterling Commerce, where he was honored with the Outstanding Employee of the Year award, a reflection of his integrity, dedication, and excellence.
His life was truly international. He lived abroad in France and Tokyo, spoke fluent French, and conversed in Japanese, embracing cultures with openness and respect. A lifelong traveler, he explored 156 countries, finding joy in cruising the seas and experiencing the beauty and diversity of the world.
Home, however, was especially dear to him. He cherished his California residence, where ocean views, peaceful walks along Laguna Beach, and quiet moments brought him deep contentment. Those tranquil times were often shared with his beloved dog, Kobi, who brought him constant joy and companionship.
A devoted spouse, loyal son, supportive brother, loving uncle, and steadfast friend, he was known for his generosity of spirit and willingness to help family and friends whenever needed. Family gatherings were especially meaningful to him. He delighted in hosting Easter dinners, continuing the cherished tradition of an abundant family Christmas breakfast, and celebrating joyful family parties filled with laughter and love.
Food was another expression of his warmth and creativity. He loved Italian and Chinese cuisine, with a special fondness for homemade Chinese dishes. He took pride in baking the very best homemade muffins using Grandma’s secret recipe and never passed up a good bagel.
Music filled his home and heart. He was a devoted fan of Barry Manilow and Diana Ross, and during Christmas, he happily played holiday music all day long, fully embracing the season’s joy and meaning.
Above all, his faith guided his life. A devout Catholic who followed Franciscan teachings, he loved the Lord deeply and lived with humility, compassion, and gratitude.
He will be remembered for his kindness, faith, curiosity, and unwavering love for family and friends. His life was rich with purpose, adventure, and devotion, and his legacy will continue in the many lives he touched.
A visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00pm with a rosary service to start at 2pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033, United States.
