

A native of Columbus Ohio, he retired from the Simpson Co after 19 years as President.
George was a veteran of WW II and served in the armed forces in the Philippines.
He loved to travel and was an avid bridge player, self taught pianist and technology buff.
He enjoyed all of these hobbies until 2011 when he was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration.
George moved to the island of Kauai in 1997 where he met and married (Margaret) Jean Fenton. In 2005
George and Jean moved to Frisco, Texas.
He is survived by wife, Jean Fox, daughters; Diane Horner, Kathleen Myers, Pamela McKinley, Angel Clark,
Nancy Fox and Julie Bartlett; twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, brothers; Thomas Fox &
Joseph Fox, sister Mary Baldwin, and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, (Mary) Jackie Shepard Fox, daughter Teresa Fox, grandson
Allen Horner, granddaughter, Meredith Joyce and his sister, Sister M. Frances Helene Fox.
A private memorial service for the family will be held in the spring in Columbus.
