

Leaving our hearts broken are his wife of 52 years, Myrna. Two adult daughters, Julie Ann Gazelas and Amanda Cypher. Two grandchildren, Carson Scruggs and Nicholas Gazelas, both 23, and Julie’s beloved husband, Dimitri Gazelas. The Magnificent Seven has now lost a soldier. We had countless vacations to the beach, family gatherings and wonderful memories to cherish.
Jim is also survived by his brother, David Cypher of Shreveport, Louisiana, and his three children Chris Cypher of Shreveport, Eric Cypher of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Mary Frances Groves of Round Rock, Texas.
Jim had a successful career in the transportation/logistics industry. He leaves behind numerous colleagues of the Katy Railroad, APL, and C.H. Robinson. And numerous friends in Frisco, Plano and Hot Springs, Arkansas.
