James Tiberius Lake only lived two weeks, but in those two weeks his personality showed. James was feisty, strong, and sweet, and he showed these characteristics in the only ways he could; kicking when anyone would touch his beautiful little feet, grabbing a thumb or finger whenever you put it in his hand, and scrunching his face as if he were to cry but could not make the sounds. We always knew James was a strong boy, as he would kick at all hours of the night and anytime anybody would try and see him through the ultrasound, he would flip and move as if he knew we were watching him. James was a beautiful baby boy that fought so hard to live, but his little body just could not handle what life had dealt him.
James is survived by his parents, David and Michelle Lake; brothers, Nicholas Kujawa and Riley Kujawa; sister, Taylor Kujawa; grandparents Jonothan and Ann Lake; and grandmother, Donna Stein.
