It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie “Fynn” Cordell, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and dear friend. Jamie left us at the age of 50, following a tremendously courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 9, 1974, in Roseburg, Oregon, Jamie showed a remarkable passion for life from a young age that touched everyone who knew him.
Jamie was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Tania, with whom he shared 33 beautiful years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Together, they built a life filled with unwavering strength and joy. As a proud father to three sons, Bailey, Dillon, and Oliver, Jamie passed on to his family the values of resilience, hard work, and living life to the fullest.
A true car enthusiast, Jamie could often be found in his garage, adding the latest upgrades to his truck or sports car, always with a smile and a sense of purpose. He also had a deep love for snowmobiling, which led him on countless backcountry adventures through the mountain landscapes that brought him much peace and joy.
Despite the many challenges of his five-year battle with cancer, Jamie remained a beacon of strength, stability, and positivity for his family. He continued to embrace life in the way he always had—working hard at the job he loved and supporting his family in every way he could. His laughter, his determination, and his zest for life will forever be remembered.
Jamie leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and resilience. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tania; his children, Bailey, Dillon, and Oliver; his father, Danny; his father-in-law, Keith; his siblings, Shawna, Jesse, and Willie; and his cherished cats, Wobbles and Mimi. He will also be deeply missed by countless friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest peacefully, Jamie. You will live in our hearts forever.
