

Josephine (Jo) Carnevale left this world for her heavenly reward on 3/1/23 at 93 years of age. She was the beloved daughter of John and Jenny Leto from Frankfort, New York. She met and married the love of her life Joseph (Joe) Carnevale on 12/14/52. They were married for 56 years prior to his passing. Jo worked as an administrative assistant for many years in the medical field. She had many friends throughout the U.S. She and Joe had a passion for square and round dancing, especially during their time living in Alabama and Missouri. Together they were Round Dance Instructors for over 30 years. Jo cued at local and national events to include Round A Lab. Once retired they relocated to the Rio Grande Valley in Southern Texas and continued to share their love of teaching and dancing. Jo also began an acting troop at Llano Grande Park where they lived and was well known for her spaghetti dinners and biscotti. She moved North to Plano, Texas last year to be nearer to family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, son Karl, parents John & Jenny Leto, son-in-law Frank and daughter-in-law Beverly. She is survived by her sons Joseph Dale Carnevale of Brookfield, Illinois, John Kenneth (Luci) Carnevale of Fort Smith, Arkansas, daughters Kathleen Carnevale of Plano Texas, Kim (Tim) Haslett of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Grand children Christopher and Joseph Carnevale, John and David Carnevale, Karen Carnevale and Niki (Rodney) Rush and Diana Haslett. She is also survived by many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services at St Patrick Catholic church in Wentzville, Missouri are pending. Jo will be laid to rest at Peace Cemetery in Wentzville, Missouri with her husband and son.
