Born September 11th, 2011 in Frisco, Texas, Knox’s parents are Kimberly and Kevin Dydalewicz and his older brother is Kaden Dydalewicz.
Knox had a love for adventure and lived his12 short years on earth to the fullest. He was joyful, fun, kind, loved athletics and games, had empathy and cared for others, always making his Mom, Dad and Bobo proud.
Knoxy loved watching his big brother play baseball, which he did all of his 12 years. He was Kaden’s biggest fan! Knox made everything fun, from playing basketball, to fishing, hunting and golfing. He was a collector of favorite basketball shoes and loved trading basketball cards. Knox enjoyed the ocean and snorkeling, riding scooters, playing video games with friends, tubing at the family’s lake house and riding the tractor at his Uncle Greg’s farm in Dripping Springs. He loved all animals, but his 3 dogs, Yeti, Wrigley and Barrington, were his brothers as well.
He lived his life with gratitude and kindness and was recently recognized by his principal and teacher at Hunt Middle School for his “Kindness to Others.” He loved his friends and it was important to him to include as many as possible for every fun activity or adventure, so that no one would ever feel left out. This inspired his friends to create many loving tributes, which they have worn to school this week.
Knox was preceded in death by his Uncle Drew Santamaria and his beloved grandfather, “Paco”, Henry Santamaria. He is survived by his awesome brother Kaden Thad Dydalewicz, his maternal grandmother, Rita Santamaria and maternal grandparents Alan and Laurie Vitale, paternal grandfather Ted Dydalewicz and paternal grandparents Sandy and Kenneth Parker, Aunt Kelly Shearer, cousins Shelby, Jackson and Justin Shearer, Uncle Rob Shearer, Uncle David and Aunt Laine Santamaria, cousins Mac, Edythe, Annie and Arthur Santamaria, Uncle Steven Santamaria and fiancé Marissa Meyers, Uncle Greg Dydalewicz and Aunt Jaime Dydalewicz, cousins Haylee and Marcus Bean and Taylor and Klaus Bohrmann as well as a wonderful extended family of great aunts and uncles, many wonderful cousins and all the rest of Knox’s family and friends who loved him with their whole hearts.

“Heaven is a real place. It’s where Jesus lives and waits for those he loves to come to him. It’s a place of joy and love and hope – a place for all of God’s children, young and old, to stay and play forever”. - Todd Burpo
