I am forever grateful for the support  From  Larry. I met him  At St Paul/UT Southwestern hospital. He always knew how to fix things that were not working on our floor. He always made us laugh. I appreciate him always supporting and encouraging me. He has truly shown me how to be present, enjoy every moment and embrace family.  We love you and miss you. My condolences to Ms. Maureen. 

I will always remember Larry's kind and happy spirit.   He was one of the nicest people we knew and the love he and Maureen had for each other was very obvious.  He will be greatly missed and my deepest sympathies go to his loved ones.

I was fortunate to have Larry as my neighbor, if only for a short time. Whenever he saw me outside he was there with a smile and a chat. 
Maureen, my heart goes out to you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Larry was the guy who always made me laugh and look at the good in life and always had a kind word. He was one of the first people to visit me after my heart attack at work. He was gracious and kind, always. My wife met him while I was in the hospital recovering, he was able to lift her spirits in a difficult time. Thanks for everything my friend, Godspeed. Maureen, you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I can remember when Mom and Larry (Dad)  met. I must have been under 3 years old. We all meet at Roosevelt Park  in Albuquerque NM.  I can remember giving him my toy that I loved so much. Although I have received numerous toys, the one I treasure the most was a Lego car. I guess he never forgot that day because later in life, he told me. “I remember this little pretty blonde gave me her toy she owned at the time from that day on, I feel in love with her.”  If you knew  Larry (Dad) well enough, he would  say, ‘  Take care of  Kathy kiddo. Take care of my daughter” and  “Take  one day at a time”.  Our dad was an important part of our lives. He taught  us manners. We learned at young age to say ‘Please”, and “Thank You”.  Mom and Dad knew that they're giving their children an advantage that will carry over into social, educational, and eventually professional situations. Throughout our lives, people face behavior rules and the consequences of ignoring them. Without proper etiquette, society would be a mess with free-for-all behaviors that would have rude people dominating those who care about others. People would say whatever is on their minds, regardless of how crass it is. Forks would fly, and elbows would rock tables in restaurants or homes. Diners would be grossed out by people who speak with their mouths full of food. Anyway, you get my point.  I will always appreciate how he raised me. Thanks for teaching me so much about life Dad. I wouldn’t been able to thrive as an adult without you! You were all I knew as Father. I love you! I miss you! We have hope Bible prophecy indicates that we are near the time when God will take action to restore peace and everlasting life to obedient mankind. God promises: “I will change their mourning into exultation, and I will comfort them and make them rejoice away from their grief.” “‘Hold back your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for  there exists a reward for your activity,’ is the utterance of God. 

May he RIP and may the good Lord have mercy on him.  He was always smiling and I enjoyed talking to him always. He was a very pleasant person.  He always joked around with me and my team, he liked to call us the bug (bacteria)people 😄!

Larry was my best friend, spiritual guide and teacher.  
There are so many hilarious stories, heartbreaking memories shared together or 'in-side' jokes that only the two of us knew.   

One memory stands out the most.

I would complain to Larry about this gross dish my wife and her family made called 'milk-monies'.  It’s exactly what it sounds like, warm milk with cooked macaroni noodles.  My two daughters, my wife and her entire family eat this stuff once a week at least or so I told Larry.  He smiled and said very little.  The next day I saw him and he handed me a piece of paper with something he had printed on it.  He asked me to give it a read and read it I did.  In an instant I felt like a fool and owed my entire wife's family an apology.   The paper was research Larry had done on the origin of 'milk-monies'.   In the region of Spain where my wife's family comes from a common dish dating back to the early 1,700s was pasta with a lite cream or milk like sauce.  

You see, Larry cared enough about me to listen to my whining and then to patiently research culinary data to help me realize that if I stop long enough to understand something I can be a better person, and I should understand the other vs judging them.

I am so saddened to hear of Larry's passing.  He always seemed to have a smile on his face.  Maureen, you will be in our prayers for comfort and peace.

Larry was very kind and caring, and many days would text me the “Jesus Calling” daily devotionals.  He said he worried that I worked in healthcare during COVID and it was his way of reaching out and sending me a caring inspiration to start my day.  He was also a giving and good baker,  and would share yummie fresh baked goods.  We’ll miss Larry’s quick smile and good humor.  He was a light in this world.
