She passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2026, in Frisco, Texas—sharing the date of her passing with the anniversary of her marriage, a day that always held special meaning in her life.
On March 3, 1973, Patricia married the love of her life, Michael William Cetera, in Chicago. Together they built a life grounded in faith, family, and enduring love, sharing more than five decades of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and partnership.
Patricia had a deep love of reading and could often be found immersed in a good book. She embraced technology with enthusiasm and was known as a bit of a wizard with her iPad, always eager to learn something new. She also loved to travel. Whether setting out on long driving adventures or relaxing on a cruise ship—her favorite way to see the world—Patricia delighted in exploring new places and making memories along the way.
More than anything, Patricia cherished her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her son, Michael Adam; her daughter-in-law, Joan; and her two adored grandchildren, Jackson and Lily, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas. A Funeral Mass will follow on March 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Frisco.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Patricia’s memory to Catholic Charities of Dallas, a non-denominational service provider dedicated to helping those in need.
Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, her love of learning and adventure, and most of all for the deep love she shared with her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
