AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Robert B. Carroll

14 septembre 195219 juillet 2020

Bob was born in Chicago Illinois on September 14, 1952. He worked in the Aviation field for TWA and American Airlines for 45 years. His experience in the field was vast. When Bob was 5 years old he knew he was mechanically inclined when he dissembled his bike into pieces and then put it back together. He ended his career as an MCT Maintenance Control Tech. He had a love for classic cars, traveling and storytelling. Bob was one of those people who could make others smile and laugh at his storytelling. He was truly one of the happiest people, never knowing a stranger. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Carroll, brother David Carroll, mother in law, sister in laws, brother in laws, nephews, niece, great niece, cousins and many friends.

Preceded in death by parents David F. Carroll and Evelyn Carroll, and sister Linda Lackscheide.

A private service will be held with the immediate family. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.

Sorry to hear about Bob passing away Laurie. He was a first cousin. I hadn't seen him in decades but I do have a few fond memories of him growing up. One in particular was a trip to Springfield IL with Bob and his sister Linda and a friend of his. Always very upbeat. RIP you will be missed.

My brother-in-law , Bobby was a kind hearted, witty man, who loved life, was the life of the party, and loved to tease; especially me.

Bobby was also a loving husband to my sister, Laurie, and would do anything for her in a calming demeanor. Our hearts are saddened and going to miss you so much.

Sorry for your loss Laurie. We are praying for you, for peace, comfort and strength to get through this difficult time. We are here for you! Prayers to May God console you during this time of personal loss with hope in eternal life.
Love you and God Bless -

Bob was a great guy! Married to my cousin, Laurie who he loved deeply, always taking care of her and helping her thru life. He cared for his father-in-law in their home and was still carrying for his mother-in-law, Mary Ann. When they moved to Texas he was very much missed at family events. Will remember his kindness and keen sense of humor. Will miss you Bob! Thank you for being you.

I worked as a maintenance controller with Bob and he was such a joy to be around. We knicknamed him "Talking Bob" but I always called him "Smilin' Bob". He always had a story to tell and always left you thinking...."I should be as happy as Bob"....he will be missed. So sorry for your loss.
