I’ve been trying to reconnect with Sarah for awhile.  We were close friends during nursing school, being study partners for 3 years.  After the twins came, our visits and conversations were more sporadic. Imagine my shock and profound sadness , when in my search,  I stumbled across her obituary.  I hope that someone will reach out to share with me why she died the day after her birthday.

We loved our beautiful, sweet daughter-in-law.  She was always so kind and considerate of us.  She blessed many people's lives and she left three beautiful and wonderful children.  So grateful that she has been a part of our lives.  Fred and Peggy Carlson in Raytown, MO

When I think about Sarah I remember her smile, her lets do it attitude, spunky personality that she shared with her sister Rachel and her daughter Lexi. She was real and would give it to you as it is. Definitely knew how to have fun;) she will be missed but I see pieces of her in each of her children, her sisters, and her friends and family.

She was the love of my life.  She was my soulmate.  She was the mother of my 3 children.  I had the privelege of being married to her for over 21 years.  She was always my better 1/2.  She touched so many lives with her kindness and her generosity.  I will love her forever.

As I have thought about you so much this last week, I realize every memory of you I have makes me either laugh or smile.  I don't think you could say that about many people.  I loved looking through your photo gallery and seeing what a loving involved mother and sister you had become.  You were the type of person with a huge heart and personality that will be greatly missed, but knowing you, you will be running things from the other side. Thanks so much for all the great memories, I will keep your family in my prayers.

My beautiful, compassionate, spunky, caring friend Sarah you will be missed by so many. Words can not describe my sad and heavy heart today. You were an amazing friend to me and many. You were the best mom to Alexis, Parker and Carter. Rest in Peace my darling friend.

My heart is aching for your family... yet again.  I treasure the memories I have of this fine woman named Sarah.  She was an inspiration to all who knew her.  I thank God for my dear friend, Rachel, Sarah's sister, that you will carry the torch for your beloved sister.  I cannot imagine the heartbreak for you as I know how very close you were.  And to Sarah's kids, there are NO words to express the pain or the empathy that we have for you..the pain of losing your mother at such a young age. I was so sad to hear of Sarah's passing.  She is a dear childhood friend.  We had so much fun with sleepovers, riding the bus together and going to your house for a great fireworks display!  Please know your family is in our prayers at this time.

A cherished childhood friend will be dearly missed!! So many fun memories with this amazing person. I remember helping Sarah and her mom at the festival of trees after her mom had made little villages and decorated a tree to donate. Sarah is genuine and has a huge and giving heart. One of my fondest memories was helping with the kids at the Preston Lakes pool so that Sarah, Carla, my wife, and other friends could have their girl talk. Sarah brightened up every room she entered and brought joy to others lives. Even though time, distance and the busy-ness of life had made our interactions infrequent. I will miss her.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Sarah. My prayers go out to Carla, Alexis, Carter and Parker. May each moment you think of her bring memories of how wonderful she was as a sister, mother, friend and caregiver.
