Susan Anne Koskella Harcrow

Susan Anne Koskella Harcrow, age 63, of Ben Wheeler, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Susan was born June 8, 1958 in San Mateo, California to her loving parents Wilfred and Mary Lou Koskella. Susan's hobbies included singing, playing her guitar, baking and gardening. Above all Susan cherished her role as wife, mother, sister, aunt and being Granna to her five grandchildren. Susan lived her life to the fullest. Not by exotic travels or crazy adventures, but by getting the most out of every day and spreading joy any way she could. She married the love of her life on September 9, 1978 in Waco, TX. She loved spending time with John. The one job that she absolutely loved more than anything was being Granna to her five grandchildren, Davis, Leighton, Alex, Bryce and Rylee, she adored them and they loved her. Susan loved to laugh and she loved to make others laugh more. She had a wonderful albeit sick sense of humor; she found it hilarious to gross you out any chance she got. If you asked Susan what she learned in life, it would be that each day is a gift and to live every day making sure that you soak up every bit of it. She learned that you should not take yourself so seriously and there are never too many hugs. She leaves a legacy of loving your family with every fiber of your soul, a legacy of devotion to her marriage and a legacy of making anyone who knew her feel special and loved. Preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Lou Koskella. She is survived by the love of her, her husband of 44 years, John Leighton Harcrow; daughter, Jonna Anderson and husband Eric of Little Elm, TX; son, Brian Harcrow and wife Desirae of Magnolia, TX; her cherished grandchildren: Davis, Leighton & Alex Anderson and Bryce & Rylee Harcrow; three sisters, Lynne Morris of Phoenix, AZ, Darlene Breitkreutz of Denver, Co, Kris Koskella of Mooresville, N.C.; two brothers; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and lifelong friends. Susan will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her. A celebration of life memorial service for Susan will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Rd., Frisco, Texas 75034.
