Bill devoted his career to helping others—first as a paramedic and later as a physician assistant. He served with great passion on the boards of Ranch Hand Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope, championing causes that helped heal and protect vulnerable members of the community.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: boating on the lake, beach trips, cheering on Alabama football, and cooking his famous biscuits and gravy with his grandchildren. Bill was known for his ever-present tank tops, warm hospitality, and unmatched ability to make everyone feel like family. He truly never met a stranger.
