Betty Vaught Pearson

Betty Vaught Pearson, 88, of Front Royal, died November 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence G. and Mildred Grove Vaught, her husband, Jennings M. Pearson, and her brother, C. G. Vaught, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ellis of North Chesterfield, Brenda Pearson of Richmond, and her son, Kenneth Melvin Pearson and wife Sherry of Smith Mountain Lake, granddaughter and husband, Kimberly and Jordan Lovell, grandson, Eric Pearson, and many nieces and nephews. Betty was an accounting clerk for the Town of Front Royal for most of her career. She was a long time member of Marlow Heights Baptist Church and more recently a member of Bon Air Baptist Church in Richmond. The family will receive friends at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home at 1:00 on Tuesday, November 7, with funeral services at 2:00 and interment at Leeds Cemetery in Hume. Family and friends are invited to a reception at Hume Baptist Church.
