Charles Franklin Williams Sr.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Chester Gap Baptist Church with Pastor James Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Williams was born in Chester Gap on December 29, 1944 a son of the late George Herbert and Bernice Virginia Wines Williams. He was a self employed painter.

He is survived by his sons, Charles Franklin Williams, Jr., of Chester Gap, Ted Allen Williams of WA, and John Herbert Williams of Front Royal; his brothers, Donald Willams and wife Tammy of Front Royal, George S. Williams and wife Elizabeth of Luray, and Tommy Williams of Chester Gap; his sisters, Loretta Brady of Front Royal and Kathy Longmire and husband William of Chester Gap; and his twelve grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Ray Williams, Ray Burke, Aaron Morris, Tommy Williams, Jeffrey Leake, and Christopher Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Williams, James Williams, Tony Williams, Jeff Williams, Kenny Williams, and Timmy Williams.
