Elaine Grace Armentrout

A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Kerfoot officiating.

Mrs. Armentrout was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on February 23, 1937 a daughter of the late Leonard Douglas and Grace Williams Eade. She was a volunteer with the Hospice of Fauquier County. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Johnny Armentrout; her son, Frank Brookins of CT; step-sons, Jeff Armentrout of WV and Jon Armentrout of FL; her daughter Valerie Marsden of GA; her brothers, Edward C. Eade of WA, Douglas Eade of MD; her half-brothers, David Watkins of Vancouver Island, Canada and Hilton Watkins of Vancouver, Canada; her sister, Dorothy Watkins of British Columbia, Canada; her nine grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Armentrout was preceded in death by her son, George Brookins.
