Alice’s family is heartbroken to announce the passing of their beloved wife and mother, Alice Anton. She passed peacefully with her husband of 69 years at her side.
Alice met the love of her life, Harold Anton in 1955. She was in nurses training and Harold was one of her patients, being treated for polio. Harold “chased her until she caught him”. They married on February 14, 1956. Together they raised 3 children.
She loved God and was very active in her church, teaching Sunday School, directing Youth Choirs, and working with children of all ages. She and Harold enjoyed family gatherings, camping, and together they hosted 15 exchange students from around the world. Alice celebrated her 90th birthday in May, 2024 with many family members and friends. She is missed by all who knew her.
Alice is survived by her husband, Harold C Anton, Sr., and children, Harold C Anton, Jr. (Katrina), Sally A Dunn, and Debora F Zelczak (Stephen), eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
