Barbara Louise Nuss

Barbara Louise Nuss of Loveland passed away at her residence in Loveland on October 17, 2008. She was born on June 15, 1929 in Denver, CO, to Frank Joseph and Barbara (Anderson) Bowen.She graduated from Adam City High School in 1947 and also graduated from Aims Community College. She had been a resident of Loveland since 1965. She worked for the Fort Collins Public Library for 14 years. She was recognized as an outstanding volunteer, volunteering for several agencies and boards in Larimer County. Barbara was very involved with the Loveland Hearts. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the American War Mother's. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, fishing, and had a ""green thumb"".She is survived by sons, Joe Woodyard of Fort Collins, Denzil (Arlene) Packard of Greeley, Merlin Packard of Drake, David Packard of Loveland and Kelvin (Maureen) Packard of Loveland; daughter, Marilyn Kontz of Fort Collins; brother, Fritz Zeigler of Denver; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Packard, 3 husband's , and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held 4 â?? 7 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels, Loveland Public Library or the Senior Center in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
