Betty Jean Lay

Betty Jean Lay (Kaiser) was born on November 15, 1970 in Loveland, Colorado. Betty lost her long battle with illness on January 9, 2018. She is now an angel in heaven playing with her granddaughter. Something she missed very much. Services will be held January 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Resthaven.

Betty loved music something passed on by her parents. Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn and all of the older greats. Though she lived in Colorado her favorite football team was the Raiders. She played her fair share of card games keeping the nieces and nephews busy, again something passed down from her parents. She loved spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by three sons James Rowell (Rachael), Patrick McMann and Kurtis McMann (Megan), and stepson, Scotty Rowell. Her grandchildren, Addison, Allison, Daniel, Ayden and Jaden. She had six siblings, Mary Hastings, Judy Roth (Donnie), Jim Peninger (Mary), Susan Bacca (Joe), Jack Peninger, and Billy Peninger. Her niece’s and nephew’s, Ruth Ann Wofford (Darrell), Bobbie Jo Bacca, Billie Jo Bacca, Sara Hastings, Kathryn Hastings, Stacey, Jason, Jo, Jeremy, Jack, Joey, Robert, Scotty, Skylar, Clayton, Everitt, Lillei, Izahia, and Misty.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents William C. Kaiser and Mary Rose Kaiser. Also Granddaughter, Celia Hope McMann. Brother-in-law, Gary and sister-in-law, Isabel. Special friend and love, Geno Lemos.

Betty will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was taken too soon but she would want us to be happy because she is at peace now.
