Betty Jo Paul of Loveland passed away on September 19, 2010 at her granddaughter's home. She was born on October 13, 1928 in Sunset, Texas to Vernor and Bernice (Hipp) Briggs. She lived in Bowie, Texas, until 1945 when she moved to Loveland. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1946 and on December 8, 1946, she married John William Paul.Betty Jo was a homemaker and was devoted to God, her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church (now Lifespring Church.)She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, a sister, and great-granddaughters, Victoria and Jaclyn. She is survived by sons, Allen Lee (Sandy) Paul and Larry Paul; a daughter, Judy Paul Shults; brothers, Ron (Brenda) Briggs and Bob (Ginny) Briggs; grandchildren, Tracy, Gina, Jodi, Joshua, Greg, Michael, Jared, Jonathan, and Caleb; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Sean, Blake, Elliott, Jasmine, Grant, Carter, Braxton, and Jacey. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
