Celia was a beautiful, happy and smart little girl. She has touched so many hearts and lives in her short time here on earth.
Celia loved the outdoors and everything that came with it. Bugs, dirt, mulch, rocks and grass. She would fill a bucket with something a hundred times and never get tired of doing it. She also loved water. Celia took swim lessons and if there wasn't a pool the sink would do. Celia loved to eat. Fruit was one of her favorites especially blue berries.
Celia is survived by her parents Patrick and Jade; sister, Emery, her Grandpa, Robert McMann (Susan) of Nebraska, Grandma Betty Lay of Fort Collins, Grandpa Johnny Bishop (Jennifer), Great Grandma Margaret Coy of Loveland, Great Grandpa Dale McMann (Pat) of Loveland, Great Grandma Elizabeth Adams and Grandma Rhonda Bishop, her Uncle, James Rowell (Rachel and Jaden) of Fort Collins, Uncle, Kurtis McMann (Megan, Addison, Allison, Daniel, and Ayden) of Nebraska, Aunt, Mary Hastings (Sarah and Katherine) of Fort Collins, Cousin, Ruth Ann Wofford (Darrell Skylar, Ashlie, Clayton, Shailene and Everitt) of Loveland and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. We would like to thank Children's Hospital and Hospice for their part in caring for Celia.
A visitation will be held 1 pm Monday, October 9, at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel and a service at 2 pm, also at Resthaven.
We don’t know why Gods little Angels
Are sent to heaven above
We only know they change our lives
And fill our hearts with love
Every soul has a purpose
No matter how great or small
In such a short time, precious one
You were able to do them all
Now you are safe in the arms of Jesus
No hardships to feel, no bad places to roam
For God has called you to his special place
The place that’s now your home.
Celia Hope, born May 7, 2016, was granted her Angel wings on October 5, 2017 after a short battle with brain cancer.
Celia’s final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends with whom she had touched throughout her short, but very memorable life. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She will always hold a special place in so many peoples hearts.
Celia is survived by her parents Jade Bishop and Patrick McMann; sisters Emery Faith and Makaylynn Faye; grandparents Rhonda Kay, Johnny Bishop, Betty Lay and Robert McMann; foster parents Karin and Kirk Smith and foster parents Matthew and Amanda Anderson, foster sister Riley Anderson and foster brother Kash Anderson.
