Charlene Loraine Glass, 76, was born on April 23, 1938 and danced her way into Heaven on January 4, 2015. Charlene was born in Lamar, CO and moved to Wellington in her youth. Mom’s love of country music, dancing, family and the simple things in life and her kind and loving soul will remain with her family forever.
She married the love of her life Herman Anthony Glass, Jr. on June 30, 1956 and was reunited with him today. Mom’s primary job was wife, mother and grandmother. She later worked many years for Poudre School District and VOC-Tech.
Charlene is survived by her children Debra (Billy) Fields, Dennis (Vicky) Glass, Mark Glass, Gary (Annette) Glass, Vernon Glass, David (Robyn) Glass and Bryan Glass; brothers Dwayne (Verda) Hodges and Marvin (Marilyn) Hodges; sisters, Beverly Anderson and Sharon (Bruce) Michael; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Glass, Jr., her parents, Hazel and Charles Hodges; a brother, Darrel; a sister, Delores; and grandson, Jared Glass.
Not goodbye Mom, just until we meet again.
