Born in Denver, Colorado on November 29, 1951, Cindy was the daughter of Mary Eliza (Tolman) and Keith Snell Harris. One of six children, she grew up in Denver and Colorado Springs with three brothers and two sisters. She graduated from William Mitchell High School and then attended Denver Metro State College.
On April 14, 1973, Cindy married her sweetheart Nicholas Mondy. They were wed in Colorado Springs and moved up to northern Colorado in 1977. Cindy and Nick were blessed with six wonderful children; four daughters and two sons. Cindy was able to stay home to raise the children, instilling in them the values of faith and family. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Cindy enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and chocolate making. She loved spending time with her family. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While she will be dearly missed by her family and friends, they take great comfort in knowing that through the sacrifice of her Savior, life does not end at death and they will see her again.
She leaves behind her husband of more than 52 years, Nick Mondy; children Amy Lucas (Trevor), Heather Snell (Chris), Eliza Brock (Jon), Toni Nelson (Doug), Ethan Mondy (Brandy), and Mason Mondy; and 17 grandchildren. Cindy is also survived by her brother James Harris, and sisters Kristi Jolley (Mike), and Holly Urban (David), as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brothers Ted Harris and Jerry Harris.
