At just 21 years old, Cobey lost his life in a tragic accident in Colorado on January 24, 2026. This devastating event has also left his 19-year-old girlfriend in critical condition; we ask for your continued prayers and strength for her and her family during her recovery.

To know Cobey was to love him. He was a force of nature—hilarious, bold, and possessed a personality that could never be forgotten. He was the heartbeat of our family, often seen rocking his signature black and gold style. Whether he was immersed in the worlds of Halo, Gears of War, and Sword Art Online, or quoting The Godfather, his enthusiasm was infectious.

Cobey was a young man with big dreams and a servant’s heart. He was currently a welding student but aspired to become an EMT or a nurse to help those in need. He was also our resident chef, often talking about his dream of owning a food truck one day.
