Colleen West

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was the daughter of Leona (Neff) and Bryan Sanborn and the sister to Carolyn, Keith, and Bryan. The Sanborn family moved to Laramie, Wyoming in 1942 where Colleen finished high school and met her future husband, Richard "Dick" West.

She lived in the Fort Collins and Loveland area since 1967, when she and Dick moved to Colorado with their three children, Kellie, Robin, and Todd. Colleen enjoyed cooking new recipes, bowling and shopping. Above all else, she loved taking care of her family.

Colleen is survived by her children, Kellie Kollock and her husband Earl of Boone Iowa, Robin Heimann of Ault, Colorado and Todd West of Loveland, Colorado, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; and by her two brothers, Keith Sanborn and his wife Linda of Laramie, Wyoming and Bryan Sanborn of Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Leona Sanborn, her husband Richard "Dick" West, her sister Carolyn Cagle, and her son-in-law, Lou Heimann.
