Gene Elizabeth Krieger, 85, of Berthoud passed away on February 4, 2009 at the Berthoud Living Center. She was born on December 30, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN to Elmer A.and Elfreda C.(Olson)Lindell. She graduated from Glidden High School in Glidden, Wl in 1942. She was married to George Reed, and they later divorced. She was married to Jim Krieger for 29 years and they later divorced. She had been a resident of Loveland, moving to Berthoud in 1996. Gene was a homemaker, and also enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, baking, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a son, Terry Reed of Henrietta, TX; a daughter, Barbara Lindell of Sunnyvale, CA; and two grandchildren, Dennis Reed of Spokane, WA, and Terry Reed, Jr. of Henrietta, TX; and three great-grandchildren.
