

Tom McCall died on January 5, 2023, at his home with family. Tom was born in Denver, Colorado, August 25, 1935, and moved to Fort Collins in 1972. He enjoyed traveling and visited 84 countries with his wife of 41 years, Glenda.
Tom had a long and rewarding career in the computer industry. He worked and lived in California, Hawaii, Washington D.C. and Teheran, Iran, designing and developing computer systems in support of military intelligence and logistic applications, commercial banking and hotel reservation systems. He finished his career at CSU and National Technological University. Tom loved technology and was frequently an early adopter of the latest in computer hardware, software and techno-toys.
Tom volunteered many years as a tent captain for the Loveland Sculpture in the Park show.
Tom loved the outdoors and was an avid skier, scuba diver and sailor. He sailed around most islands in the Caribbean and Tahiti and has explored the underwater areas of those islands, Hawaii’s Big Island, Wakatobi, and the Galapagos Islands. He continued to enjoy skiing until 2020.
Tom was pre-deceased by his parents, his first wife (Mona), stepson (Bart Thompson), and sons-in-law (Chris Bye and Jim Hewitt). Tom is survived by his wife (Glenda McCall), four children (Lisa Hewitt, Michael McCall, Vicky Bye and Mark McCall), stepson (Garth Thompson), 6 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings (Patricia, Priscilla, and Chris).
A memorial service for Tom will be planned for the spring time-frame.
