Frank attended Westminster High where he participated in 3 years of varsity basketball and graduated in 1959.
He began his printing career at The Westminster Journal followed by 35 years at Johnson Printing before retiring.
Frank enjoyed playing racquetball and bicycling. As an avid sports fan he watched and attended nascar, baseball and football events. He also enjoyed spending time in casinos. His favorite travel destinations were to Italy and Hawaii.
Frank is survived by his wife Judy Lopo; brother, Joe Lopo; son, Joseph Lopo; daughter, Carol Ann Lopo; stepson, Jeff Weickum; stepdaughter, Melissa Bauer; five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Frank is preceded in death by his father, Frank Lopo; mother Lucy Lopo; sisters Pauline and Patrinella.
Cremation has been conducted and a memorial service will be held at 1 pm Monday, February 10th at Resthaven Memorial Gardens 8426 South Hwy. 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter in c/o Resthaven Funeral Home.
