The strongest man I have ever known! I only knew Fred for a short time. And I loved and respected everything I witnessed him do and say right down to his last words. A model of a man!

Daddy , its takin me a long time to be able to write somethin on here, i'm used to you being here and just being able to call you up and talk to you. I miss you so much. Your the best dad anyone could ever ask for and you've taught me so much. I love you more then all the stars in the sky and all the water in the ocean. Fred and I were small children together on 24th St., in Paterson. He was my best friend before and in Kindergarten and 1st grade until his family moved. I remember them all fondly.   ED HOOK

Dad....It's hard to express so many loving memories of a lifetime. Fond memories of the Jersey Shore, boating, going for ice cream and on contracting estimates come quickly to mind. Visiting Sturbridge Village with you and Robyn was a very special time I will always remember. That trip inspired and enforced my love of antiques and early American houses. Although distance separated us with my move to NYS we enjoyed many dinners and fun outings together over the years. Your move to Colorado created greater distance, but we could talk on the phone and be together again. You were always there to support me through all of my life milestones. I love you very much for that, Dad. I only wish I could have supported you more during your illness. Now God has called you to his side. This move will be much more difficult for me to handle. I'll miss you very much. But I will take comfort in surely knowing that you are in the hands of God now. Love you always and forever....Debi

Robin-I was so saddened to here the news about Fred.  I always remember what such good care he took of you.  He was always so pleasant to everyone and such a joy to be around. Dear Robyn:Augie and I were so sorry to read of Fred's Passing.  Augie was always very fond of Fred.  When we first moved in across the street, Fred was always ready to help Augie learn how to fix things in the house and always treated us fairly when we needed a driveway or sidewalks.
