

George A. Van Arsdale, 93, passed away on June 18, 2018. He was born in Hugo, Colorado to George and Idalean on December 28, 1924. He served in the Navy for 3 years during WWII. George attended CSU and became a teacher in Ft. Collins where he taught science and math. He also became Assistant Principal at Lincoln Jr. High and finished his career as Director of Activities at Poudre High School. He was an active member of Breakfast Optimists and the Elks. After retirement, he spent several years in Red Feather Lakes, CO with Marge where they made many more friends.
George was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Marge. He is survived by his daughter Margette (Kip) Pulis, son Alan (Mary) Van Arsdale and daughter Debra (Mike) Koliha. He also had 5 grandchildren - Jason (Terra) Van Arsdale, Jacob (Shannon) Van Arsdale, Tyler Folger, Brie (Josh) Lashinski, Alex Koliha and 4 great grandchildren – Walden & Karson Van Arsdale, Alistair and Wynston Lashinski.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 531 S. College Ave. at 1:00 on Tuesday, June 26th.
