Greg Baker of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on October 2 and is survived by Nancy, his wife of thirty-seven years; his daughter, Carley Lynn; and sons Trevor Jay and Kyle Gerald. Also surviving are his brothers, Mark of Missoula, MT, Doug of Moise, MT, Gary of Sula, MT, Byron of Sun City West, AZ; and sister, Janice Shank of Surprise, AZ. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice and father, Gerald.
During and after high school, Greg worked in his parent’s Missoula restaurant before joining the U.S. Air Force. His love of photography led him after the military to become an accomplished portrait photographer for Olan Mills of Chattanooga, TN. He then moved his Zip One Hour Photo from Springfield, OR to Fort Collins where he has resided since 1992. He later was hired by Swift Trucking of Denver where over the next 16 years he was a long haul driver, driver leader, recruiter, on site leader, office trainer and Customer Account Representative in the Denver Terminal. For the last five years Greg also worked for Home Depot.
Greg leaves behind many friends and co-workers who respected his enthusiasm, cheerful nature, and strong work ethic. Born September 21, 1958, Greg recently celebrated his 60th birthday. He will be missed by all who know him and love him.
Funeral service will be conducted by Allnutt Funeral Services, 650 W. Drake Road on Saturday, October 13 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Swift Charities in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80526.
