

Hien ""Henry"" Tran: Greatest Father/Grandfather Mr. Hien Henry Tran, 70, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away peacefully at University of Colorado Hospital on Sunday August 28 due to complications from a stroke to his brain with his wife and children by his side.
Mr. Tran was born on July 15, 1941 in Hanoi, Vietnam. His family migrated to Saigon when he was 16 before the Vietnam war. There he enlisted in the Vietnamese Navy and was a very respected Captain. He also met his former wife Kim in Saigon and had 5 beautiful children. Mr. Tran fled Vietnam with his family in April of 1975 while taking hundreds of other families with him to safety in his navel ship.
Mr. Tran's family was sponsored by a Lutheran church is Fort Collins where he resided till his passing. He worked for over 28 yrs at King Soopers and was known to all his peers as Henry THE HARDEST worker. He raised all 5 of his children as a single father. After his children all graduated he married his current wife Co Tuyet who has been his guardian angel. His greatest accomplishment was raising all his kids to become successful leaders and entrepreneurs. He is known by his children as their ""SUPERHERO"".
Mr. Tran's hobbies were working out, cooking for his family and being around his children and grandchildren. He loved taking care of his grandchildren and playing games with them. It gave him so much joy to see his children and grandchildren happy.
Mr. Tran is survived by his wife Co Tuyet, his three sons Hai Tran, Hung Tran and Vu Tran; Two daughters Trang Tran-Wolf and Chum Tran; Stepson Tu Tran and 4 grandchildren. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion for his family.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Tran will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 1 at Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525, (970)667-0202. A reception will follow in the Resthaven Reception Center.
