Ian K. Robertson

Dr. Ian K. Robertson, 83, passed to his reward on December 21, 2007. Ian was born in Sandusky, MI on October 27, 1924 to Dr. Colin and Florence Detweiller Robertson. Dr. Robertson received his medical degree in Montreal, Canada. He served in the USNR from 1951 to 1953 then did his residency in the VA in Denver and started his practice in Loveland in 1956. Ian was a retired internist having a private practice in Loveland for 40 years.He met and married Sharon Scheer James in Loveland in 1982 and they spent 25 wonderful years together.He is survived by his wife, Sharon; brother Colin and wife Nancy of Coral Gables, FL; son, Dr. Ian Douglas Robertson of Littleton, CO. ; daughter Heather Anne Robertson of Elko, NV; grandchildren Jason and Megan Robertson of Littleton, CO and 8 step-grandchildren, Michael and Quina James of Lodi, CA., Larry and Mary Campbell of Sioux Falls, SD. and Kerry Patrick of Loveland, CO.Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 11:00am at All Saints Episcopal Church. Interment in the Columbarium at All Saints.Family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to All Saints Church, Building Fund; The Loveland Lions or the McKee Foundation in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
