James Alan Henderson of Loveland died on August 1, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. He was born on January 10, 1940 in East Chicago, IN, to James Andrew and N. Lucille (Hugo) Henderson. He grew up in Hammond, IN, where he graduated from Hammond High School. He married Jacqueline Mossel on October 20, 1960. They lived in South Holland, IL, where they raised their family. He was a member of the Faith Reformed Church of South Holland, IL (Dyer, IN) for many years, prior to moving to Colorado. He had been a resident of Loveland for 6 years.
Jim was a member of the Indiana Army National Guard for 6 years. He owned “Jimbo’s Drive-In”, worked for UPS, worked in Real Estate and was a motor coach driver for 21 years in the Chicago area.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna Zimmer. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Loveland; sons, Jim Henderson and wife Jacqueline of Grand Rapids, MI, Jeff Henderson and wife Genevieve of Denver and Joel Henderson and wife Amy of Loveland; a daughter, Jill Weich and husband Chris of Fort Collins; and grandchildren, Ashton, Brooke, Zachary, Brett, Daniel, Katie, Cody, Emma, Makenna, and Kalissa.
Memorial Services will be held September 22, 2012, time to be announced.
