James Drew Moss

James Drew Moss, 80, passed away on October 17, 2024 in Fort Collins, CO. Jim was born November 21, 1943 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Theodore B. Moss and Alice MacGee Moss. Jim was known for his friendly and even tempered nature, always nice to everyone he met; he dedicated himself to a life of hard work. On January 9, 1973 Jim married his loving wife Linda Sue Moss and they enjoyed 51 years together.

Jim proudly served in the US AIr Force from 1963 to 1967 with a tour of duty at an airbase during the Vietnam war 1966 to 1967.

He attended University in Colorado, Colorado Springs, receiving a BS degree in electronic engineering and was employed by Space Systems International as an electrical engineer. Jim also worked at Boeing Aerospace for 12 years until his retirement.

Jim enjoyed catch and release fishing, walking, urban farming, bird watching and watching football on TV, especially the Broncos!

He is survived by his wife, twin brother Ted Moss (Marsha) and his sister Sherrill Wyeth, along with many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life for James will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Allnutt Funeral Service – Drake Road Chapel, 650 W. Drake Rd., Ft. Collins, Colorado 80526.
